Kenya Records 4th Coronavirus Case
Kenya has recorded its fourth coronavirus case, the Ministry of Health has announced.
Speaking during a media briefing on Tuesday afternoon, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said the patient arrived in Kenya from London, the United Kingdom on March 9th.
Kagwe said the case was confirmed on Tuesday at the National Influenza Lab in Nairobi. He added that the ministry has begun tracing people the patient may have come into contact with.
The new case brings the total number of people diagnosed with the illness in Kenya to four.
"The four are healthy and are being looked after. The search for those that the patient has been in contact with is ongoing. We continue to ask the citizen to maintain hygiene,” said Kagwe.
