Kenyan Man Lynched by Angry Mob After Being Caught in Sexual Act with a Cow

A middle-aged man was on Tuesday morning lynched by an angry mob in Mwingi, Kitui County after he was caught in the act with a cow.

The man was allegedly found engaging in the bestiality act by a passerby at Mavoko area in Mwingi town at around 4:00am. 

The passerby raised alarm and when neighbors arrived, the man became violent prompting mayhem that led to his death.

By the time officers from the nearest police station arrived, the man had already been killed. They moved the body of the deceased to Mwingi Level IV Hospital morgue.

Kavuvwani location chief Nicholas Muvengei condemned the deceased acts and also warned residents against taking the law into their hands.

Police immediately launched investigations into the incident.

Bestiality or unnatural act is considered a felony in Kenya and attracts a prison sentence of not less than 14 years if one is found guilty.
