Uhuru and Ruto Using BBI, Hustler Nation to Fool Kenyans, Roselyn Akombe Says
Former IEBC commissioner, Roselyn Akombe has accused President Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto of fooling Kenyans.
Akombe through Twitter on Wednesday claimed that the alleged fallout and fights between Kenyatta and DP Ruto were a scheme by the two to divert attention from their failed presidency.
Akombe was responding to a tweet by a user identified as Nduko, who accused Uhuru and Ruto of employing what she termed as military deception.
“MILDEC (military deception) is what the #Uhuruto duo adopted to deflect public rage away from their failed presidency. They knew you were about to revolt so they created a fog of war (#BBI and Tangatanga) to disorient you as they consolidate their advantage. It’s psychological operations at work,” Nduko tweeted.
Akombe concurred with Nduko, adding that the BBI and the Hustler Nation are a creation of the so-called deep state, in which Uhuru and Ruto are members.
“On point! They are banking on vita vya panzi, furaha ya kunguru. #BBIReport and #hustlernation are narratives created from the same deep state factory,” said Akombe.
“All to maintain the core economic interests of the billionaires and securocrats who run the country. Wako pamoja,” she added.
Akombe fled to the US eight days before the October 26th, 2017 repeat presidential election from where she announced her resignation from IEBC, claiming her life was in danger.
She later resumed her earlier job as an Under-Secretary at the United Nations in New York.
