Monster Kenyan Mother Chops Off 1-Year-Old Son's Genitals

A one-year-old Kenyan boy is currently fighting for his life in hospital after his mother chopped off his genitals under unclear circumstances.

After committing the cruel act, the monster woman identified as Winnie Mutheu fled her home at Kamandura village in Tigoni, Kiambu County, leaving the child for dead. 

A neighbor said the mother of two told her that she threw her son’s genitals in a pit latrine before she fled.

The baby boy is admitted at Kijabe Mission Hospital in critical condition, according to Tigoni OCPD Mwaniki Ireri, who confirmed the Thursday incident.

The boy’s father got alarmed when his cries intensified and was shocked to discover he had been mutilated. He reported the matter at Tigoni police station.

“He asked his wife why their son was crying and she answered that the boy had broken his leg while playing with other children outside the house,” the boy’s aunt said.

“My brother then decided to examine his son, only to find no injuries on either of his legs. He went on to remove his son’s clothes and discovered that he had been physically abused.”

The motive behind the horrific attack remains unclear even as police continue to search for the woman.

“We are pursuing the mother, and we are confident that we shall find her,” said OCPD Ireri.

Children’s officer George Ngugi said they are working with the police to ensure the woman is apprehended.
