DCI Clears Foreigners to Apply for Certificate of Good Conduct Online

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has cleared foreign nationals to apply for a police clearance certificate online.

In a statement, the DCI urged foreigners seeking to obtain the document popularly referred to as the certificate of good conduct to apply through eCitizen portal using the following steps.

1.    Create an eCitizen account after selecting the foreigner’s option.
2.    Log into your created account and make your application by selecting DCI Headquarters as the only fingerprinting station.
3.    Upload your passport biodata page, last endorsement, work permit/student pass/special pass, and wait for approval to proceed with the application.
4.    After approval, select your convenient mode of payment and make the payment.
5.    Print the C24 forms and invoices after payment has been received.
6.    Proceed to DCI HQs for verification of original documents and fingerprint capturing. You will be notified to print the certificate from your eCitizen account once it is generated after processing.
