Kenyan Mother Spends Sh44,500 on Uniform for Her Quadruplets
A mother stunned Kenyans after revealing that she spent Sh44,500 on buying school uniforms for her quadruplets.
Through Facebook, Divinar Joseph shared a receipt of the items she purchased for her four kids including shirts, skirts, trousers, sweaters, fleece jackets, tracksuits, P.E Tshirts, socks, ties, and P.E shorts.
She indicated that the amount spent is on one item per child, meaning she will have to part with more money should they need extra pairs.
βIn case you are feeling overwhelmed. Hope my uniform bill gives you hope. Hii receipt nimepewa niende nilale nayo kwanza,β Divinar wrote.
Divinar has been homeschooling her quadruplets as it is cheaper, but she was forced to enroll them in an institution following an Education Ministry directive that all CBC pupils must attend school to be issued with a Nemmis number.
βI am posting this so that some of you can stop complaining. This is the life of multiple parents in a nutshell,β she added.
She also noted that she paid a school fee of Sh50,000 for her first-born daughter and a total of Sh136,000 for her quadruplets.
