Well-wishers Donate 2022 Election Campaign Vehicles to Raila

John Wanjohi Oct 01, 2021

ODM leader Raila Odinga has received campaign vehicles from well-wishers ahead of the 2022 presidential election.

The vehicles worth millions of shillings were donated by Homeboyz Entertainment company in partnership with Mombasa-based businessman Bernard Waore.

Mike Rabar, the Director of Homeboyz Entertainment said the vehicles fully fitted with the state-of-the-art sound system will boost Odinga’s campaign for his 2022 presidential bid.

“Donation of the vehicles fully fitted with the state-of-the-art sound system will go a long way in boosting the audibility of his campaign as we enter into the electioneering period,” Rabar said.

Odinga also received a donation of three thousand facemasks, hand sanitizers, and protective gowns from Dr. Samuel Oliech Omolo, the head of Biopharm Technologies.

Odinga, who received the donations at ODM headquarters in Nairobi, expressed his gratitude to the well-wishers.

He said the 2022 general election campaigns should be issue-based and a platform to give hope and not to cause divisions among Kenyans.

Odinga pointed out that millions of youth feel disenfranchised and disenchanted as a result of unemployment, adding that there must be mechanisms to create jobs and other opportunities for young people.

He urged Kenyans to continue observing COVID-19 protocols put by the government to help curb the spread of the virus.

“The election period will have a lot of human activity and coming during this time of the pandemic, it is important for everyone involved in the campaigns including members of the public to take the necessary precautions to avoid contracting the virus,” Odinga advised.
