Eric Omondi Among Kenyan Artists Nominated for African Entertainment Awards USA

Comedian Eric Omondi is among a host of Kenyan artists who have been nominated for the African Entertainment Awards USA (AEAUSA) 2021.

Omondi, a self-proclaimed president of comedy in Africa, was nominated in three different categories including ‘Best African Comedian’, ‘Social Media Influencer of the Year’, and ‘Media Personality of the Year’.

Other Kenyans nominated for various awards include Njugush (Best African Comedian), Elsa Majimbo (Social Media Influencer of the Year), Nikita Kering (Best Upcoming/ Local Artist and Best Female Artist - East/ South/ North Africa), and Trio Mio (Best Upcoming/ Local Artist).

Others are Sauti Sol (Best Group) Tanasha Dona (Best Female Artist - East/ South/ North Africa), Khaligraph Jones (Best Hip-hop/Rap Artist), and Nadia Mukami (Best Female Artist - East/ South/ North Africa).

The African Entertainment Awards USA is an annual event consisting of mostly music awards.

AEAUSA has been honoring African’s excellence since 2015 with over thirty (30) awards presented each year during a two-day event that takes place in New Jersey. This year’s event will go down in December.
