Kenyan DJ Crème de la Crème Reunites with Wife, Regrets Saying Marriage is a Scam
Popular Kenyan disc jockey George Njuguna, alias DJ Crème de la Crème, has reunited with his wife Denise, about a year after their much-publicized break-up.
DJ Crème confirmed their reunion during an interview on Milele FM, saying he regrets referring to marriage as a scam.
The deejay claims the remarks were based on emotions, adding that he ‘deeply regrets’ the outbursts that have cost him a lot of things.
“With time I realized that I had done a big mistake, especially saying marriage is a scam. I think I was just emotional and I deeply regret it because it has cost me a lot of things,” DJ Crème said during the interview.
The entertainer noted that he does not want his children to question him about his statements on marriage in the future.
“Can you imagine my kids in future coming to show me a YouTube video saying Daddy why did you say marriage is a scam?” he posed.
He admitted that life was never the same since the departure of his wife from their matrimonial home last year, adding that the are now living happily together.
“I felt the house was empty without her and I am so glad my family is reunited. I don’t want to talk much about it but in every relationship when you are at your worst you will think your partner is the worst person,” he said.
“But time has a way of healing things. You go back to your senses and realize that you cannot do without the other person.”
Taking to Instagram last July, Crème declared that “marriage is a scam. Don’t let anybody lie to you!”
“I don’t really want to talk about this but what I can tell you is that at the moment I am alone. My wife took the kids so I’m living one day at a time. You know as a man you just have to deal with life,” he added.
