Uhuru Tells Off Ruto Camp as He Campaigns for Raila, Karua in Nairobi

John Wanjohi Jul 12, 2022

President Kenyatta has urged Nairobi residents to vote for the Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua in the August 9th elections.

Addressing residents of Kasarani after the official commissioning of Mwiki Level III Hospital on Tuesday, Kenyatta described Odinga and Karua as leaders of high integrity, saying that the two are most suited to succeed him.

He also took a swipe at Deputy President William Ruto and his allies over their remarks on his retirement, reminding them that he will remain in office until he hands over power to his successor.

The Mwiki hospital is part of the 28 new Level Two and Level Three health facilities constructed by the Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) across Nairobi as part of continued efforts to attain Universal Health Coverage.

Kenyatta labeled the newly-opened Mwiki hospital as a game-changer that will revolutionize access to health services in Kasarani. He said the facility will reduce the time residents spend looking for health services in neighboring hospitals.

"Tayari akina mama 60 wameweza kujifungua hapa.
