Kenyan Woman Charged with Biting Off Husband’s Genitals

A Kenyan woman was on Wednesday charged in court for allegedly biting off her husband’s genitals and stabbing him in the abdomen on New Year’s Eve.

35-year-old Grace Oyaro from Kisii is said to have committed the heinous act at their home in Nyanchwa estate following a domestic altercation over infidelity.

The couple had a bitter exchange over a suspected love triangle, sparking a bitter exchange between them, according to a police report.

Following the incident, her husband Eliud Onuko, 38, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital, where he underwent surgery.

The suspect was arrested after visiting one of the private hospitals in Kisii, where she went to receive medical attention after the incident.

Appearing before Senior Principal Magistrate Caroline Ocharo, Oyaro pleaded not guilty to charges of causing grievous harm to her husband and was released on a bond of Sh50,000 with a similar surety.

The case will be mentioned on January 26th.
