Pastor James Nganga to Build 'Jerusalem City' in Kajiado
Apostle James Ng'ang'a of Neno Evangelism Centre has announced plans to build a city within the next 10 years.
Dubbed Jerusalem City, it will be built on a 50-acre parcel of land in the Nkatatei area of Kajiado County.
Pastor Ng’ang’a told a local publication that the city already has 70 children who are currently pursuing school in grades 1 to 4.
"I bought this land three years ago and already I am constructing a big church here and already I have 70 children who are going to school in grades 1-4. I also give them food, uniform, and shoes," the clergyman said.
The city will have a church, school, hotel, shopping mall, bank, and an institution for higher learning such as a college or university.
"Already we are building a big hotel here where people who come for prayer services and night prayers will have a place to eat food. Those who will be coming for the normal church services in the near future will also use the facilities and so we must prepare ourselves for the future," Ng’ang’a noted.
Ng’ang’a, 68, divulged that they have already sunk three boreholes that will supply the city with water and appealed to partners to join him in his mission.
"Each Sunday after the church service I give relief food to about 200 worshippers who come to worship in this church. I am appealing to more partners to come and join me in building the new city here," he added.
