Museveni’s Son Threatens to Send Ugandan Military Officers to Protect Uhuru Kenyatta

John Wanjohi Apr 01, 2023

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni’s son General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has said he will send military officers to protect former Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta.

This is after goons invaded the Kenyatta family’s Northlands expansive farm in Ruiru, Kiambu County where they destroyed trees and stole livestock.

Through Twitter on Saturday, Muhoozi described Kenyatta as his ‘big brother’, adding that he will send Uganda People's Defense Forces (UPDF) to guard him and his property.

“My big brother's farm was attacked by hooligans the other day. We will send UPDF to protect him. We will beat those hooligans to a pulp!” he wrote on Twitter.

"I asked Mzee to deploy me as the OC (Officer Commanding) at Northlands. All we need is 200 UPDF soldiers to bring order…”

During the invasion, assailants are said to have cut down over 100 trees, made away with at least 1,400 dorper sheep, and later a portion of the property set on fire.
