Form 3 Girl Nursing Severe Wounds After Attack by Form 4 Boyfriend

Residents of Aduwa village in East Yimbo, Siaya County, are in dismay after a form four boy attacked his girlfriend, a form 3 girl.

The 17-year-old victim is a student at Got Matar Secondary School, where her boyfriend is enrolled as a Form Four student. The lady is currently nursing injuries at Eldoret Teaching and Referral Hospital. Locals report that the suspect left deep cuts on the throat, head and limbs of the victim. 

East Yimbo Location chief Julius Odemba said that they are working with the area police to pursue the suspect and bring him to book. 

"Together with the police, we are working around the clock to arrest the suspect." 

The victim's mother denied any sexual relationship between her daughter and the suspect. She said that the boy left with her daughter at 3 am, after knocking on the window of the room in which the daughter sleeps. She added that the news reached her at 6 am. 
 
"We have gathered information that the boy came to the house where my daughter sleeps at around 3 am. He knocked the window and my daughter opened before exiting with him. I was woken up by a neighbour at around 6am that my daughter was lying in a pool of blood in the neighborhood," the troubled mother said.

The distraught father of the victim said that the police should investigate the crime scene and arrest the suspect.
