Fresh Details Emerge in the Murder of Margaret Mbitu in Massachusetts
New information has surfaced about the devastating event involving Kenyan woman Margaret Mbitu whose lifeless body was discovered in a vehicle at Logan Airport in the United States.
As per the Massachusetts State Police report, Margaret Mbitu's body was found in her boyfriend's vehicle who is also of Kenyan nationality and the main person of interest in this case. Margaret Mbitu had visible injuries on her neck and face, including additional wounds near her chest area. Traces of blood Blood were also discovered inside the vehicle.
After accessing surveillance footage at the airport, the authorities ascertained that the white vehicle in question was driven to the airport and parked there on October 31st, a day after Mbitu's reported disappearance. Subsequently, the prime suspect, Kevin Kangethe, abandoned the vehicle before venturing into the terminal and embarking on a flight to Kenya. It has been revealed that the boyfriend had arranged for his travel to Kenya on Tuesday morning.
Margaret Mbitu's death was confirmed by the Boston Emergency Medical Services at 7:30 p.m. on November 1, following the discovery of her lifeless body by local law enforcement. US authorities have since launched a manhunt for the 40-year-old male suspect. The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is working hand in hand with Kenya's Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to locate and extradite the Kenyan man.
Photographs of the main perpetrator have likewise been unveiled to the public to aid with the search. Meanwhile, Mbitu's family is pressing the officials to promptly carry out their inquiry and apprehend the perpetrator.
