Mchele Babe Drugs Businessman in Karen, Steals Gun
An investigation is currently underway regarding an incident in which a businessman was robbed of his firearm after a possible act of stupefaction at a club in Karen, Nairobi.
Stupefaction, as defined by the Cambridge Dictionary, refers to the act of rendering someone unable to think clearly, often due to extreme fatigue, boredom, or drug use. The businessman, who possesses a valid firearms license, informed the police that he had encountered a woman he knew at the club on Sunday morning. After sharing some drinks, they departed for his car around 2 a.m. Upon reviewing surveillance footage, authorities confirmed that the victim, accompanied by two women, proceeded to his vehicle.
It is believed that he consumed a stupefying substance, possibly in the form of a water bottle. Subsequently, he lost consciousness and only regained awareness seven hours later when he was awakened by club security. Unfortunately, his Ceska pistol, along with 15 bullets, two mobile phones, and an undisclosed sum of money, were missing. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident and are actively searching for the missing weapon.
In the world of taxi driving, an interesting and unexpected scenario unfolded. A driver had the privilege of transporting three women from a club to Ruiru. Little did he know that these ladies would unintentionally leave behind a mysterious black bag in the backseat of his vehicle. Curiosity got the better of him, and upon inspecting the bag, he discovered a firearm inside. Knowing the importance of returning the weapon to its rightful owner, the driver found himself in a rather peculiar situation.
An idea struck him - he could send the firearm back to its owner. However, this plan came with a price tag. The driver received a call from an unknown individual who demanded a sum of Sh3,000 in exchange for the safe delivery of the weapon. Determined to do the right thing, the driver agreed to the terms and arranged for the payment.
With the money in hand, the driver made his way to a matatu conductor who operated on the Ruiru-Ruaka route. Unknown to the conductor, he was about to become part of a rather unusual transaction. The driver entrusted him with the black bag and a sum of Sh500, explaining that it needed to be delivered to the local police station. Oblivious to the contents of the bag, the conductor happily accepted the responsibility and went about his way.
The conductor completed his task and delivered the bag to its intended destination in Ruaka. The police there confirmed that this was indeed the same firearm that had been reported stolen earlier. Despite the peculiar circumstances, no arrests were made at that time. The conductor was able to provide a detailed account of how and why he found himself in possession of the weapon.
As the investigation continues, the police are working diligently to trace the whereabouts of the women involved in this peculiar incident. Nairobi police boss, Adamson Bungei, stresses the seriousness of the situation, stating that the act of stupefying someone and stealing a weapon is both criminal and illegal. Authorities are urging caution among partygoers due to an increase in cases of stupefaction. This is crucial as the crime can have lasting repercussions for the victims.
