The President of the Kenya Association of Manitoba Pamela Obonde has verified that the deceased has a brother residing in the United States and a family back in Kenya.
On the other hand, Sam Aguko, the former president of the association, mentions that he had last spoken to the deceased's mother approximately two years ago during his tenure as the community's leader. During one period of Lesikel's disappearance, his mother contacted Aguko in an attempt to locate and bring him home.
