MP Oscar Sudi Gifts Nuru Okanga Sh1.3 Million and a Three-Bedroom House
Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has extended a compassionate gesture to Nuru Okanga, granting him a three-bedroom home and a cash gift of Sh1.3 million
This heartfelt act of kindness was publicly revealed during an interview on the renowned Obinna Show where Sudi emphasised his dedication to improving the lives of those in need. In the interview, Sudi conveys his desire to assist Okanga, a prominent political supporter, in embarking on a new chapter in his life. He directs Okanga to select a suitable three-bedroom house within one of Nairobi's ongoing affordable housing projects and stresses the importance of choosing a location that would best cater to his family's needs.
"Do you want KSh 1.3 million? Provide me with your account details, and I will deposit the funds for you. However, regarding the house, I want you to search for a three-bedroom unit under the affordable housing scheme. You may consider areas like Kibera or Mukuru Kwa Njenga. This house is for you and your children, so make sure to furnish it properly," Sudi stated.
In addition to the house, Sudi has requested Okanga's banking details to transfer Sh1.3 million to provide further support. Sudi has instructed Okanga to find a suitable house and visit his office where a lawyer will assist Okanga with the available options and help him locate an appropriate property. Okanga, overwhelmed by Sudi's generosity, has expressed profound gratitude, reflecting on the impact of such kindness. Sudi's act of kindness is part of his broader commitment to addressing the socio-economic challenges faced by his constituents.
The MP had previously promised to "change Okanga's life" after learning of his difficult living conditions, including having to shower outdoors. Okanga intends to invest the funds in a posho mill, a car yard, a kiosk, and a furniture shop at his rural home, with some Sh300,000 allocated to opening a salon for his wife. However, both Sudi and Obinna express concerns about Okanga's plans to start multiple businesses simultaneously. Sudi has agreed to provide the financial support but advises Okanga to focus initially on the posho mill and car wash, ensuring proper management and stability before expanding further.
