Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka says National Super Alliance (Nasa) co-principals will be seeking to meet President Kenyatta once he returns to the country from Cuba.
Musyoka said the Nasa leaders including himself, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang'ula had planned to meet the Head of State on Thursday, but he jetted to Cuba for a three-day official state visit.
"We are in support of any meeting or negotiations aimed at developing the country and bringing together all tribes. This is why we maintain we must have an opportunity to meet with my brother Uhuru when he comes back," Kalonzo said.
"When we met our brother Raila Odinga on Monday and he explained to us what he discussed with the President, we think it is important we meet him (Uhuru). If he agrees we will meet him, If he doesn't we cant force him," Kalonzo added.
Speaking after a closed-door meeting with Kamba elders and church leaders at ABC Bomani Hotel in Machakos on Wednesday, Musyoka also dismissed fears of Nasa coalition breakup.
The three Nasa principals met Opposition chief Raila Odinga on Monday at Stoni Athi resort in Machakos, where he briefed them about his unity meeting with President Uhuru last Friday.

A lost opportunity. This what happens when one is over- cautious with "what ifs". Remember the parable of the two sons? "A man had two sons, and he came to the first, and said, 'Son, go work in my vineyard.' He answered, 'I will not,' but afterward he changed his mind, and went. He came to the second, and said the same thing. He answered, 'I go, sir,' but he didn't go. Which of the two did the will of his father?"
"The first."
