Clerk Job Vacancy at the Kenya Embassy in Washington, DC
The Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Washington DC invites applications from all suitable qualified persons for the position of a Clerk. Successful applicants will be hired on full-time two (2) year renewable contract.
Job Description: The ideal person shall;
- Record keeping
- Receive, examine, sort and route mail
- Filing of documents
- Safe keeping of files
- Maintain file movement records
- Keeping inventory of office supplies
- Issuing office supplies to staff and maintaining records
- Assisting with receiving and returning phone calls
- Assisting with reception duties
- Any other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications required:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience of management of records
- Possession of computer and I.T skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A certificate of good conduct or equivalent
- Be in possession of a valid work authorization permit issued by U.S Government
