Police in the United Kingdom are investigating the death of a 20-year-old Kenyan man.
Tyrone Mulinde from London was found with serious injuries at Dampiet House in George Street, Bridgwater, Somerset on Saturday, October 20th after he was reportedly attacked.
Mulinde received treatment from paramedics but he succumbed to injuries at the scene.
BBC reports that the 15-room property where Mulinde was found is owned by homeless charity Arc, and is for persons "who are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless."
Police have appealed for information over the whereabouts of a suspect linked to the killing of Mulinde.
The suspect, identified as Nial Koporo, is described as being 20-years-old, black, 6ft 2in to 6ft 4in tall and powerfully built.
Police say he frequents Westminster in London and warned the public against approaching him since he carries a knife.

Wait, a Kenyan named their child Tyrone?
Tyrone is a Bad name. No kidding.
@ sifuna you are heartless!!! you don't belong among people
Very sad that we have hundreds of kenyans who r homeless in the diasporas n some leave in projects housing where living is very diprolable..I have said it hear that just because yr kids were born in majuu or u moved yr kids there juu of brainwashed ati they will have good future bin brot in majuu is pure nonsense juu by the end of the day is how focused yr kids r n if they follow their dreams n ofcourse put upright with their Gods n beliefs. Its is not a guarantee yr kids will have good future in diasporas comparing with Africa.Otherwise may this dude rest n if the person who killed him is caught he should b stabbed to death too.Tit for tat.
So there are no homeless people in Nairobi or Kenya?? Who are those boys I see sniffing glue and which project do they come from?
Mhalisi, by now we know you made it big in Kenya, BUT last summer I met many Diasporas( somewhere in Thika where they drink, I'm sure you know the place, in some golf courses etc) who have not made it like you , meaning, it is not the place BUT individual tenacity, luck, hard work and may other variables that make one succeed inlcuding INHERITANCE- which in your case I suspect it is in some part ( I think I know who you are now) . In the USA, there are Diasporans who are making it not breaking a sweat, lucky, being in the right place at the right time, talent and many other variables. Your constant belittling people speaks volume and your lack of respect in certain forums where sympathy and understanding is required especially in cases where you may not know who the person really was except for the few paragraphs at Mwakilishi. My friend even with all the money in the world, being humble is a virtue. I have met Millionaires (in USD ) and the real ones my friend, those with real wealth not money are the most nicest, humble people you will ever meet. And yes just because eh, my children are better in USA ANY DAY THAN IN KENYA EVEN IN AN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS IN ROSSYLYN ! Like I have told you before hapa , I don't knwo what circles you partied around with and exchanged ideas with or simply hang out with , clearly you never met solid, Kenyans who don't speak much but are a force to reckon with , they EXIST like M&M meeting Santa :-). Let it be now seriously, we have heard your rant about our pathetic lives huku majuu, can you let go now?
Si ni hapo thika greens hapo kwa Golf Club? Ask him if he has been to the Founders Lounge hapo juu, Thika G. What does he see akisimama hapo juu? Off course atasema yeye hukwenda huka akitaka.
You know people who are wealthy or rich don’t even say it. You seldom see the likes of Oprah Winfrey talking about how much they are worth. Struggling people like Mkenya Halisi claim to be rich all the time and like reminding people what they have. MK is living in denial and from his/her comments, you can tell he is a bitter guy. Hurt people, talk hurt. He is a bitter deportee.
Formerlyguest2, you are so right. Many millionaires on both sides of the pond are silently wealthy and you rarely hear a peep from them. Interestingly, there are many former diasporans who moved back to Kenya between 2005 and 2013 and are back in the states now. Kenya can be brutal if you are employed or your business goes belly up. It's not for everyone.
Wewe Nani,I know of three men who went back to Kenya last year but are back. One had a good job in Houston but is now staying in Columbus,Ohio.Kahura is in Seattle,Washington and the other guy was very lucky. He got a job at Hartsfield Airport,Atlanta the same day he landed there three months ago.Hata hawaongei kwasambambu ya haya.
I bow down to ya!👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Did the article specifically say Tyrone was living there? What if he had gone to see a friend? I know you would pay to live in a homeless shelter in the UK rather than continue rotting in Tigoni while highly muratinanized.
He wasn't living there he was killed near there and that just happened to be the closest place to where the stabbing happened
@mkenya halisi Without kidding, I would say that you sound to have been Deported from the US (kwa kuCHIMBWA na waKENYA ilivyo Chuki na Wivu yao huko Majuu). Pole sana.
It is shameful that mhalisi does not filter emails . each one of us knows how it is easy to be homeless mainly loss of job by being raid of sickness . we all know how biased it is abroad . we left home for higher jobs or got lucky with the lottery or our parents had immigrated but we know it is never like home rich or poor but for personal reasons we stay. being murdered like this boy could happen to anyone anyone especially in the USA where gun rights are first amendments and there is always a crazy guy or a hater . stop insulting your fellow who have lost lives it is not easy for families
He wasn't homeless he was selling drugs in somerset from london and got shanked by another dealer from london
I read lots of comments from mkenya halisi n i believe he has a huuuge personal problem. Back to my corner.
Sifuna, yeah, it’s a name like any other, what are you implying? Quit being pretty.
your are right @sifuna has a mental issue probably or he is dead drunk (siC). This is a young life wasted and family is grieving and we should mourn with them for no one is safe where racial hatred and criminality is at large
Some people with their bitterness. Smh. A young man is gone we should send prayers and condolences not cheap jealous opinions. If anything you are more likely to succeed in the diaspora than Kenya unless you are borne of the reknown looters.People die everywhere and I tip my hat to anyone who seeks better pasture. Rest with the Angels lil man.
hehehehe @ufisadi@formelryguest trust me i wasn't left with no inheritance i have worked my ass off to b where i am.I may not b rich as u think but am wealthy enough n am proud.I have nothing against majuu trust me.All i want our pple to know is that u can majuu is not all roses as many diasporas lies to pple in kenya?let pple know the truth about life advantages disadvantages za majuu.lets enlighten them by not hiding anything to them then leave them to make a decision.I have said it that i made money while in usa then i invested back home to b where i am so those who think i hate majuu r mistaken. What i hate is those many of diaspora who think they can only make it if they left kenya which again r total lies??In kenya very few pple who r involved in corruption many r handworking fellas.@Ufisadi hizi storys za kusema u stand more chances of succeeding in majuu than kenya is not true.U can succeed anywhere aslong as ur determined n focused to do so.Always remember majority of kenyans who have moneyyy wako kenya sio diaspora.
I beg to differ. I am a proud Kenyan who would die if am not home at least 4 times a year. But I know the environment in Kenya right now is toxic . I’ve been blessed to have lived in different diasporas if you will. My experiences made me believe that US is the best place to capitalize your potential freely and fairly. You will be rewarded for your hardwork, honestly, fidelity to their laws and humbleness. Again my experience. Over 90% percent of the folks around me have succeeded or on their way through education or business/ legal hustle. There are no tribal advantages here, we are all Kenyans. Even kids from the wealthiest Kenyans are busting ass like anyone else. Some have gone back to Kenya and others all over the world . Why do you think the Kenyan elite send their kids abroad? Who you kidding? If it wasn’t for the remittance from the Diaspora Kenya would be in the gutters.Discrimination, violence and struggles are everywhere, the best one can do is place yourself in the safest position to your ability and pray for luck.So your hatred and hollering about the lying or struggling watu wa majuu is crap if not diversion of your bitterness. You claim to have made money is the US so please let be the ones who aspire to do the same. That point actually validated my point of your sweat paying off( which is not always available to even the most qualified at home). Maybe change your circle of lying braggadicious friends. Hate will kill ya.
I respect your freedom of speech and I also choose to exercise mine. FOR THE SAKE OF HUMANITY STOP CAPITALIZING ON TRAGEDIES FOR YOUR CHEAP BITTER PROPAGANDA. AGAIN MAY THE YOUNG SOUL REST IN PEACE
"..hizi storys za kusema u stand more chances of succeeding in majuu than kenya is not true.U can succeed anywhere aslong as ur determined n focused.."
Says the deportee who had to came to the US to make a few coins. @Mucanganga summed you up in 4 words 'hurt people....'
Mbuzi siwezi mpigia guitar.👋🏿👋🏿
Please! You can’t tell me a country who’s public funds are squandered by the few can afford equal opportunities for her poor citizens. All it takes is a 1 life mishap and you are done for. Substandard healthcare inflated food prices
@Shopkeeper, not true. How many graduates are there in Kenya and can't get jobs? In USA, if you have a college degree chances of getting a good paying job is more than 90%.
Tyrone is from Uganda, not Kenya. This man has no ties to Kenya.
I will stick my neck out and add my two pence of thoughts to this. I find the days when we could measure one against the other, i.e success in majuu and nyumbani are increasingly being narrowed. In my view, a lot depends on a mix of things depending on your social, family and dare I say a pinch of luck and hard work?! A lot of young impressionable young people (black boys in particular) in UK find themselves at crossroads and unwittingly end up in unsavoury company. Needless to say (and I am not saying this was the case with the deceased), they wind up in the streets due to family fall outs, peer pressure, gang involvement and drugs/substance misuse. Knife crime amongst young black males in UK is a nightmare and a sad reality for many families. Many parents simply became alienated from their young ones as they seek coins to survive, not to mention cultural clashes between the ages. We need strong male role models in these kids lives. Once, a child was raised by a village, now, it's each to their own, survival for the fittest......
R.I.P 20 years old is too young condolences and prayers with the family
Rest in peace Tyrone. I know how your mum feels for loosing you.
May your family have strength during this trying moment.
Poleni sana familia
R.I.P
It is a shame that someone comments on the guys nationality and the whole forum now surrounds that...the truth is he was a drug dealing bully from London he ruled with a steel knife himself looks as if so do others.... He sold death, crack n heroin...my thoughts though are with his newly born son and family ..R.i.p. MONEY
Sad indeed! RIP young man and may your loved one finds justice, healing and peace.
