Renowned veteran Television anchor Swaleh Mdoe has put on sale one of his kidneys in an attempt to sort out what he termed as "pressing financial problems."
In an interview with Pulse Magazine, Mdoe, who presents Swahili News on Citizen TV said he will even be forced to place an advert on local dailies in pursuit of a potential buyer.
“I would even be placing a newspaper advert if that is what it takes to get a worthy client.”
He continued: “I have decided to sell one of my kidneys after consulting my doctor on the matter. I have some pressing financial issues that I want to offset and all I can think of right now is selling my kidney. Feel free to share my mobile phone number (0722733130). I need to do this urgently."
Prodded to further explain why he opted to selling his body organ, instead of using other ways to sort out the financial problems, Swaleh said: “I don’t really want to bother people. I don’t. I can live with one kidney.”

may be.illegal,but.happens all the time
Pressing money problems will always be with us from time to time. So, what happens the next time he gets into financial stress after he sells his kidney? Sell part of his lungs? Or the small intestines and leave the large ones to take care of business? This ain't smart folks, nope!
He will be left organless with more financial problems than ever before
If a Renowned veteran Television anchor has to sell one of his kidneys to sort out financial problems, then what will unknown granny in the villages do -- sell both kidneys, heart and liver? This d spd rate guy ought to be ashamed of himself. The same hall of shame goes to Mwakilishi and original original media that published this bogus story to give this shameless TV anchor free advertisement. Parliament must pass laws to ban such inhumane advertisement. This should only happen in a sick society without any moral values. Despite rampant corruption at all levels of our society, I don't think our country has degerated to that sickly level yet. Shame on you Mdoe and worse shame on Mwakilishi for giving publicity and free advertisement to this man who is both mentally and financially bankrupt. Mwakilishi Editors, you can and MUST do better than publish such gutter nonsense which is neither informative nor serves any useful purpose. Shame, Shame and more Shame!!!!
I believe there's more to this than what we've read. First of all, let's ask ourselves one question: Why announce it publicly? What's the motive? There is a hidden gain of this than what it sounds.
Anyone else who can agree with me?
Yes @ Kifaranga, I totally agree with you!
i wonder how much value he is putting on the liver.would ge sell one of his yes if no buyer comes up with enough cash to pull him out of the red,and how much would the eye be...
very good publicity stunt - now sonko will come to his aid and pay his bills
How much deep in the red is he?Without knowing how he spend his earning, it is difficulty to empathize.may be he is afraid to ask for help from friends, because he lived beyond his earnings( driving a BMW on a salary of a honda accord). But if medical,or some tragedy activity drained his assets, then most people would justify lending a helping hand.
