Labour Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has revealed that 1,000 job opportunities are now available for Kenyan drivers in Saudi Arabia.
The initiative, shared through Mutua’s social media platforms, seeks to recruit drivers for various vehicles, including small cars, buses, and trucks for a reputable company in the Gulf state. Qualified candidates will receive a monthly salary of 1,400 Saudi Riyals, which translates to approximately Sh 50,000.
Beyond the salary, successful applicants will be provided with complimentary accommodation, transportation, meals, and medical care, reinforcing the government's commitment to ensuring a stable and supportive working environment for Kenyans abroad. To apply, candidates must hold an original driving license and valid certificates.
For those lacking a passport, expedited processing will be arranged to facilitate a seamless transition into their new roles. However, it is important to note that candidates will need to pay a medical fee of Sh 15,000 out of pocket. Mutua has urged prospective applicants to prepare this fee in advance, as those chosen will be expected to travel immediately upon completing their medical clearance.
The recruitment process will be conducted in three counties: Nairobi, Nyeri, and Mombasa. Intervals for interviews in Nairobi are set for December 18 and 19, 2024, at the Kabete National Polytechnic. Candidates from Nyeri will be interviewed on December 20 and 21, 2024, at Nyeri National Polytechnic, while those in Mombasa are scheduled for December 23 and 24, 2024, at Kenya Coast National Polytechnic.
All interview sessions will operate from 8 am to 5 pm. According to the CS, the government is effectively addressing local unemployment issues by facilitating international job placements.
As Kenyans continue to die in the hands of these savages their government continues to want to send more to their death. Who bewitched Africans????!
