NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga has hinted at quitting active politics should he lose fairly in the August 8 general elections.
Raila, who launched his fourth stab at the presidency after failing to win in 1997, 2007 and 2013, on Wednesday made indications that he will be hanging his political boots if he fails to clinch the presidential seat.
“In the past years, elections have been a sham in this country with losers being crowned. As NASA we shall not allow a stolen victory,” he said
“I am sure of an outright victory but in case I lose fairly to my opponents, I will have to do other things and options are wide and many,” he added, while speaking at a political rally at Gusii stadium on Wednesday.
He was accompanied by his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, NASA principals Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula and Isaac Rutto. The principals exuded confidence that they will defeat President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto in the August general elections.

Raila is nervous to a points of threats or predicting his defeat ..well I don't know what he intend to do after loosing because he need a psychiatrist after loss...otherwise it will suicidal. .. and causing a lot of chaos in the country. ..which we be dealt with too much police forces
It will be good if he does to let the young people in NASA also have a chance in leadership. This country needs fresh ideas to steer it into the future
Well,It looks to me that Jubilee is going to win the upcoming elections. It is the high time that Raila conceded defeat and retired from politics.I think that Kenyan Politics is ripe for new and young leaders especially within the opposition. We need new leaders in ODM ,so that the country can heal from some of the deep wounds (eg 41-1) that have been inflicted by some of these antiquated leaders.
