Former Gatanga MP and Nairobi gubernatorial contestant Peter Kenneth has maintained that he was rigged out in favor of Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko in the Jubilee party primaries held last month.
Kenneth says some cartels in the Jubilee party he did not name were involved in a plot to ensure that he did not clinch the part’s ticket even if he won it fairly.
Speaking in an interview with NTV, the former Gatanga lawmaker exonerated President Uhuru Kenyatta from his nomination woes, but instead blamed it on unnamed individuals who he claimed are also scheming for the 2022 succession politics.
"I did not lose in the primaries. The whole exercise was a sham and I was fixed by cartels that are keen on the 2022 polls. I don't think if the president had a hand in this, “he said. The former assistant minister was floored by Nairobi senator in the quest for the Jubilee's party ticket and will now vie as an independent candidate.
Kenneth exuded confidence that he will trounce Sonko and incumbent Evans Kidero in the August 8 polls to become the second Nairobi Governor. He is running as an independent candidate.

And why is he capable again? Managing CDF funds was his job period, nothing special that he did or out of the ordinary in Gatanga and Nairobi City is no Gatanga!
Was he rigged out in 2013 when he got 74,000 countrywide? Ulishidwa kabisa. get it, you will not make it.
Hehehe this DUde is still crying like raila that he was rigged out??PK u made a big mistake of standing at Nairobi juu u had no chances unless sonko left it for you but it didn't happen juu that's what u wanted??Again u failed to calculate yr politics the way u failed 2013 thinking uhuru will b told not to run for elections???U could have stood Hugo muranga juu u did good as gatanga mpig n it's yr home n for real u could have beaten mwangi wa iria.If u were rigged then stop vomiting words n wait august n see if u will b rigged out but trust me a Sonko controls more than 600,00 votes from the slums pple who r dearly to him so wait for a big shock???Most kambas whether they r jubilee or naswa will vote for the governor wao sonko n not the deputy naswa.Watch this space mr PK.
PK, if i were you i could have gone to Kiambu and without a doubt you could have or you will clinch it.
The dude cannot get it in Kiambu. Waititu has Kiambu. Murang'a was the best option for him but it is too late
Watu wa Kiambu hawamtaki.Kyuks of Muranga and Kiambu do not get along period.Jogoo la shamba likae shambani. Nairobi governorship is too complicated for you. Both Nasa and Jubiliee want this seat what makes you think that you will get enough votes as an independent.Nairobi is a metropolitan city. The few rich Kyuks cannot out number the poor non kyuks in eastlands who have no idea who you are and the only language they understand is Sonko and free handouts.Eat humble pie and return to Muranga where they know you atleast you stand a chance.
Nairobi needs a manager who can restore the City's pride and PK is capable. IEBC will not rig you out. Dont complain; Play the game.
