As the August 8 election date is fast closing in, reports indicate that the opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) is still toiling and moiling to ensure they make Kenya's fifth government.
In their bid to consolidate more support for the coalition to oust the ruling President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party, reports indicate that NASA will be admitting a sixth principal in the coming weeks, to bring on board more support for their coalition.
Led by presidential candidate Odinga, the principals are said to have held a meeting with Progressive Party of Kenya (PPK) leader Vihiga governor Moses Akaranga on Saturday, and agreed to admit him to the principals' team.
Although details of the meeting have not been made public, reports indicate the leaders discussed on how Akaranga would join hand with the five, to be the sixth principal, and make NASA a more formidable force in run of August polls, which are due in less than seventy days.
Accompanied by his running mate Dr. Imbunya, Akaranga is said to have met the team in a Western Kenya hotel, Kakamega Golf Hotel, ahead of the alliance's presidential launch at the Bukhungu Stadium.
The Vihiga county governor later attended the launch, where he declared the launch as the 'Bukhungu Declaration', and asked all the people from the Luhya community to vote for NASA.
This is the most stupid piece of shit i have read today. How can we have three principals from western Kenya. Can't you think before writing such bullshit.
