A new Infotrak opinion poll released on Tuesday shows that National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga is ahead of his main rival, President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The findings of the poll released on Tuesday by Infotrak Chief Executive Officer Angela Ambitho indicates that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has a 49 per cent rating, while Uhuru Kenyatta is second with 48 per cent.
The survey indicates that the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader is leading in Coast, Eastern, Western, Nyanza and Nairobi regions while Uhuru leads in Rift Valley, Central and North Eastern.
Tunza Coalition presidential contender Abduba Dida is third with 0.3 per cent of the votes, while Third Way Alliance presidential contestant Ekuru Aukot would garner 0.1 per cent of the votes.
Only 2 per cent of the sampled voters were undecided, the Infotrak poll shows.
“We only spoke to registered voters and those who clearly stated that they intend to vote,” said Angela Ambitho.
5, 000 voters were interviewed during the poll.
“It is clear that only Raila Odinga or Uhuru Kenyatta can win in the presidential race. The 2 per cent undecided voters will handle the tie. The 2 per cent can go either way and determine the outcome. Either Raila Odinga or Uhuru Kenyatta will clinch the presidency,” said Ms Ambitho.
In a previous by Infotrak poll – released last week Odinga came ahead of President Kenyatta, with a 47 per cent approval rating to Uhuru Kenyatta’s 46 per cent.

Hekima. What does MKAPA mean or stand for?
There's no question that Jubilee is corrupt. That said, giving NASA leaders a pass an an alternative is intellectually dishonest. Is there one of those NASA leaders who does not have a scandal associated with their name? What about all the looting going on in ODM counties?
Sincerely:
Raila = at least 55%
Uhuru = at most 40%.
@GUEST1
MKAPA stands for:
Make
Kenya
A
Paradise
Again
Kenya was a paradise before the unfortunate assassinations of the late, Pinto, Mboya, Kariuki, Ngala,Muthiora, Muliro, Ouko, and many more other former heroes of The Republic of Kenya. It has not recovered again!
Hopefully, Kenya is now ready for another "fresh" beginning.
Yeah! I remember when Nairobi was The City in the Sun; but now it's The City in the Gloom (because of All the Murders committed since the 60s to date.
@Hekima: Wishful thinking. The poll results are a dead heat at 49% to 48% and an improvement for Uhuru compared to the previous infotrak poll. Show me one of the candidates in NASA that you can claim is not corrupt. Call a spade a spade and not a shovel or rake.
Raila is MOT corrupt.
Ndugu @Sokora:
Unless "rigging" is done again, I am sorry to let you know that your "two good friends" Ruto and Uhuru have only ONE WEEK left to continue their evil plans and deeds against the honest and hard working people of Kenya.
"Siku za mwizi arobaini."
Uhuru will win this election.
Kenyans:
We have to treat our Gikuyu and Kalenjin current leaders of Kenya as our new " wabeberu." They took over where the British stopped! Shame on them!
The British were arrogant but efficient. The Gikuyu and Kalenjin wabeberu leaders are arrogant and inefficient!
Mbeberu ni mbeberu.
Jubilee Alliance political party should change its name to, " Criminal Alliance political party. This is the most corrupt political party in the entire history of Kenya. It is made of two young leaders (Ruto and Uhuru) who were politically groomed by the late Kamau wa Ngengi and the dictator Toroitich Arap Moi. Both (Uhuru and Ruto) perfected the art of lying, corruption, looting, insecurity, and nepotism.
In a week's time, both will be history. They will be remembered as the most divisive leaders that Kenya has experienced. Hopefully, Raila will have learned from their mistakes and turn Kenya into a "paradise again."
MAKE KENYA A PARADISE AGAIN: MKAPA. Don't confuse MKAPA with the former third president of Tanzania whose last name is also MKAPA.
