Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula has joined his fellow co-principal Musalia Mudavadi in accusing opposition leader Raila Odinga of betrayal.
The Star reports that Wetang'ula said that he, together with other National Super Alliance (Nasa) co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi will frustrate the recent unity agreement between Odinga and President Uhuru.
The newspaper further quotes Wetang'ula saying, "we have regrouped to teach you [Raila] a lesson".
Speaking at the Chwele teachers annual delegates meeting in Bungoma on Saturday, the Ford Kenya party leader said that Odinga's decision to engage President Kenyatta without consulting them amounted to betrayal.
"Despite us fighting relentlessly and some people losing their lives, the subsequent conduct of our presidential candidate is not only shocking but a betrayal of the highest order, " Wetang'ula said.
Wetang'ula, who was on Tuesday removed as Senate Minority leader by ODM senators, further defended their absence at the mock swearing in of Odinga on January 30th, stating that the Nasa leader advised them not to attend.
"It is Raila who had told us to stay away, it is wrong for us to be labelled cowards for missing the ceremony because after all, it had no meaning," Wetangula said.
"If a hyena wants to feast on its children, it first starts by accusing them of smelling like a goat, Wetang'ula said.
He said Raila was free to exit Nasa and focus on his new found friend--Jubilee.
"Let him keep off NASA affairs and concentrate on his new relationship with Jubilee, we are ready to move forward," he said .
"The sheep had been worried about the wolf for many of its years but it ended being eaten by the Shepherd," Wetang'ula said.
"Let him forget about the luhya community support saying he had the support because Musalia and himself were in Nasa," he said.

Weta teach RAO a lesson?? we need reformist who will fight for our childrens.though good LUCk
They are all cut from the same cloth....all after their own interests, including Uhuru. We are, but a stepping stone to their ambitions. Period. I am done with this circus but will be watching as Miguna x2 jets in on Monday to stir up an already muddy pond! Entertaining!
So now Wetangula, Kalonzo and Mudavadi are going to waste our time asking us to support them teach Raila a lesson? I am going to use my vote elsewhere. I am not going to waste my time supporting people who only want fame and riches and revenge. What about spending that energy in sorting out the mess in our country? All these so called leaders - Raila, Wetangula, Kalonzo, DP Ruto need to step aside and let those who have a better vision of advancing our country ahead economically lead.
