John Githongo Alleges a 56-Man Team Altered Presidential Results in Favor of Ruto

John Githongo Alleges a 56-Man Team Altered Presidential Results in Favor of Ruto

Former journalist and anti-corruption crusader John Mark Githongo has filed an affidavit at the Supreme Court challenging the results of the August 9th presidential election.

Githongo, who is  CEO of Inuka Kenya ni Sisi organization, claims that the results of the election were tainted by fraudulent activities in favor of President-elect William Ruto, adding that he has evidence from a whistleblower that the results were fraudulently exaggerated, suppressed, and substituted.

He submits that on August 18th, he was introduced to a young man in Nairobi who said he had "a matter of national importance he wished to discuss." The man who was "visibly tense and terrified" revealed the truth about how the 9th respondent (Ruto) won the election.

"He revealed to me utterly shocking details of how he together with others, were involved in a large scale, well-orchestrated fraudulent scheme that enabled them to interfere with and compromise with the IEBC electoral data transmission system," read part of the petition.

Githongo says the man admitted he was part of a team of 56 people known as "The Team" whose work was to alter Form 34As before sending them to the IEBC portal.

The whistleblower and nine others allegedly served as supervisors, while the remaining 46 were given access to the manipulating entries. Their work was to obtain Forms 34A from KIEMS kits, editing them, and uploading them to the IEBC portal.

Other supervisors included Dennis Itumbi, Morris Mutegi, Davis Chirchir, Jackson Kandi, Baby Serge, and Kibyegon, according to court documents.

Githongo alleges that the team had access to IEBC's back-end servers which were working in tandem with Smartmatic, the UK-based company awarded the tender to provide technology for the election.

Githongo claims to have a video of the testimony but will not reveal it until he appears in court. He also stated that will conceal the man’s face and distort his voice for the sake of his safety.

Rayila won this ELECTION to be fair. Justice has to be done

  2. KibogoyoAug 24, 2022

How do you know he won? You just voted like any one else. Tell us how he won.

  3. RottenAug 23, 2022

KING OF CORRUPTION IS Capable OF ANY evil.

  4. JujuAug 23, 2022

The moron just came out of the hiding hole 🕳 and manufactured all the bullshìt! How about telling us more about Goldenburg thieves!!!

  5. MaxileyAug 23, 2022

When you see a person committing a crime, isn't that the best time to report the illegal activity,I would think. Not after the crime has been committed...
Why suddenly all these avalanche of dissenters?I hope that those who will present so called evidence that is found not to be credible would be punished False evidence is perjury...They are criminals who are falsely trying to win unlawfully.

  6. Kora KaniniAug 23, 2022

    Comrade Maxiley,
    True to your words.
But most of us understand the dynamics behind these folks.
Long gone are the days when we had independent thinking unbiased media.
Let's be real for a second, every media house have their favorite candidate. That's why they will try and prove that black is white and vice versa.
Unfortunately, this are the times we are living today. Also the might Dollar performs miracles.

  7. AsistaAug 23, 2022

You are right Maxiley. Of all the people in Kenya why would it be Githongo to receive an election complain? And when he received it, what did he do with the it? Why not report this alleged poll malpractice to authorities even before he moved to Supreme Court?
For this year’s election, the servers were within the numbers in the constituency tally and not in the IEBC servers.

  8. JustMeAug 24, 2022

I've been wondering the same... It looks like all these complainants knew what was happening all along the voting process. Why didn't they raise the alarm then?

  9. WaridAug 24, 2022

@maxiley, everyone can see your mind is still evolving from that of a monkey by the way you reason. Did you get a share of Ruto’s corruption money to be his Aide Decamp?? Stop selling your country short. For a dude who is semi traveled from the abagusi land across the oceans, you could try to reason Kenya politics in a more level headed way.

  10. MaxileyAug 25, 2022

@ Warid, what science did you learn. Man did not evolve from monkeys. Man and monkey share acommon ancestor. And since you are so evolved that most human beings, can you tell us who won the election?

  11. MbwanaAug 23, 2022

The Kenyan crusader, Gitongo deeply demystifies the mind and brains of a hustle.

  12. mkenyadamuAug 23, 2022

they are called hearsays hahaha or paid actors! if is true let the people sit down in court for cross examination by our lawyers. SCoK is not a kangaroo court eti here is evidence but u can't see the face of the source and oh yeah give presidency to raila...kubaff nyinyi

  13. JustMeAug 24, 2022

Yep! Can't wait to see how this becomes evidence.

  14. GuestAug 23, 2022

Dennis Itumbi is extremely corrupt and if this allegations are true then there needs to be new elections a recount will not help.Kenyans cannot afford a thief at the helm no matter how expensive a rerun.Ruto does not have an honest bone in his body and he surrounds himself with questionnable characters. He was bragging how nobody would steal his votes because he knew what was up.It is beginning to make sense because all the surveys were showing a different outcome and people do not just wake up and change their minds
Maybe we need to go back to the drawing board if technology has been corrupted aka manipulated.Manual voting and counting please there is enough unemployed youth to do the manual counting of the votes and Kenyans can wait.

  15. JustMeAug 24, 2022

....good advice...a tad too late. We've always had thieves at the helm.....have you just woken up?

  16. Kora KaniniAug 23, 2022

More drama, we will see alot of folks coming out of the woods all having evidence from both sides.
If he had this information, why didn't he go to DCI? What we need to ask ourselves is, who is paying who?
Like I had stated before some Kenyans will sell their kins for a shilling.

  17. mtejaAug 23, 2022

    Githongo himself is a scam!!!!

  18. SenecaAug 24, 2022

John Githongo has always been a respectable man. I for one believe him. Why is Uhuru not congratulating Ruto? For the first time, Uhuru is seeing what they did to Raila. He had no clue. And he is shocked. Ruto is a thief who swore that he’d rule Kenya come rain or hellfire. Good save Kenya!

  19. ConishAug 24, 2022

This guy's big head is fool of poop! The evidence is crazy. Did Itumbi the hacker even hack the hard copies 34As that the ROs were carrying on their arms!.. hii jamaa ni n'gombe ya mwisho. Why does RAO surround himself with dickheads like Cherera, she of 0.01 % and unsophisticated Githongo!

  20. imkgoogoAug 24, 2022

Interesting how Githongo can make everything look like a highly planned cyber attack. What Githongo will not tell you that everyone with internet connection had access to all the Form 34As, to download, and use. Azimio, UDA, every media outlet, etc had their tallying team. They were all very busy adding numbers. Very much in order to file a petition, but to be successful, go to Supreme Court with facts and not imaginations. We all have great imaginations, but at SC, it's facts and supporting evidence.

  21. MaxileyAug 24, 2022

The struggle, and fight for the top job in the land seems to be driven by something more than patriotism.Something sinister. These two candidates are the quintessential purveyors of greed, and corruption...Each side is claiming bad intentions from the other side.Where is wise man Solomon when we need him?But from what I see, brainy Solomon might have a hard time solving this one,let along perusing through Raila'
s documents that were transported in a lorry.

  23. AsitisAug 24, 2022

Walolo I love my country. The drama just started ati Gathogo met a terrified guy who spilled the beans about the "Popular Election Malpractices". I guess a reasonable person trusted with such information would have been at DCI reporting & writing a statement not waiting for a case to be filled. Bure kabisa just tell us who paid you and how much!

  24. AsistaAug 24, 2022

Some smart con quickly realized that Azimio was desperate for evidence to challenge the poll outcome. Went ahead with editing the 2017 polls results just to sell them to Raila. If indeed the same copies are those that are circulating in the media, then I feel sorry for Githongo, the entire Azimio and Uhuru and Baba.

  25. NanyaAug 25, 2022

KENYA KWISHA OUT!!! YOUR 40 DAYS ARE HERE, READY AND RIFE. This is a new Kenya my friend. You cannot do things the same way everytime and expect different results. Na bado. Watch this space. You don't mention God's name in vain. God and thieves and lairs, corrupt and satanic tribalists don't mix. No compromise. They will be uprooted one by one. Kenya inastahili heshima!

  26. AsistaAug 25, 2022

The 4 commissioners are illegally in office. They were supposed to be nominated 2 years prior to the election. But that wasn’t the case.
