Sabina Chege Slams Uhuru, Tells Him to Quit Politics

Acting Jubilee party leader Sabina Chege has said that retired President Uhuru Kenyatta was legally dislodged from the party leader position.

Internal strife in the party is between two factions, one led by former Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Kioni, and the other by EALA MP Kanini Kega. Speaking during a funeral service in Sirisia Constituency on Saturday, Chege accused Uhuru of playing politics rather than guiding the incumbent leaders. She noted that the former President should have abandoned politics six months after Ruto assumed office.

“Nobody chased Uhuru Kenyatta from being the Jubilee party boss, we followed the law to remove him,” she said.

The acting SG Kanini Kega accused the former head of state of using his position to harass others. He termed Sirisia MP John Waluke’s graft case as political. Chege urged Uhuru to concentrate on promoting peace within the country just as he does across the continent.

Her statement resounded comments by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi who urged Uhuru to quit politics and focus on his peacekeeping missions. She added that Jubilee supports Ruto's government and that they will not participate in Raila-led Protests. She stated that Uhuru handed the instruments of power to President Ruto and therefore the opposition should give Ruto time to deliver for Kenyans.

Dada Chege: The late freedom fighter in India Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi once said:

"There are unjust laws as there are unjust men."

Had it not been for Uhuru Ngina Kamau, no one would have known your name. For you to quote unjust laws to oust the former president from active politics is unpardonable.

"Asante ya punda ni mateke."

On the other hand, it is equally unfair, cruel, and inhuman to bring national politics in funeral processions.
I still remember during my mother's funeral how I felt so uneasy and uncomfortable when a special day to wish farewell to my mother was turned into an active political arena.

Let us ban politics from all funeral proceedings. When? Beginning today.

It’s his Democratic right to participate in politics.

Sabina Chege should form her own party.

What is stopping them from forming their own party?

There are many ways of removing Muigai from party leadership including the illegal but easiest one, bullet.Bullet because he is also illegally in JUBILEE leadership. He should have quit the seat six months after retirement.Jubilee should be disbanded altogether as it has never held elections since it was formed.Karumaindo/Wanjiru Joy should start her own party since she has many partners, from Kinyona to KOINANGE St to Modern Green to Imani to Onyx strip bar,Atlanta to Crazy Girls strip bar,Los Angeles to Griffin strip bar,London etc.Kanini’s son,Magoats(MaThenge Kanini) can accompany her mbolo ikiwa ndani as his name-MaThenge suggests.
