The escalating tensions in the Middle East have drawn global concern and condemnation with leaders across the world urging restraint and immediate de-escalation measures.
The recent attack by Iran, launching an unprecedented barrage of over 300 drones and missiles towards Israeli territory, has significantly heightened the already volatile situation in the region. While Israel's robust defence systems successfully intercepted and neutralized an overwhelming majority of the projectiles preventing them from reaching their intended targets, the attack marks a concerning escalation in the long-standing hostilities between the two nations. Iran's direct strike on Israeli soil represents a significant departure from the covert conflict that has characterized their confrontations in the past.
Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has expressed grave disapproval of Iran's provocative actions, emphasizing the urgent need for diplomatic intervention and restraint from all parties involved. In a statement, Musyoka commends the unified diplomatic response from the Group of Seven nations and appreciates President Joe Biden's assurance that the United States would refrain from retaliatory actions against Iran. Musyoka underscores the importance of swift and decisive action by the United Nations to defuse the crisis and avert a catastrophic escalation. He stresses that the Middle East and the global community cannot afford the devastating consequences of a full-scale war, particularly in the aftermath of the Easter and Ramadan celebrations.
Echoing similar sentiments, Kenyan President William Ruto condemns Iran's attack as a blatant threat to international peace and security, contravening the principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter. Ruto urges Israel to exercise utmost restraint in responding to the act of aggression, recognizing the delicate nature of the situation and the urgent need for all parties to step back from the brink before recovery becomes insurmountably difficult. As the hostilities between Iran and Israel intensify amidst the ongoing conflict in Gaza, the international community has rallied behind calls for diplomacy and de-escalation measures.
The gravity of the situation cannot be overstated, with the potential for a wider conflict looming large if efforts to restore stability and dialogue fail to gain traction. The protracted conflict in the Middle East has continued to spiral, exacerbating regional instability and triggering far-reaching economic repercussions. As the situation on the ground grows increasingly dire, the United Nations Security Council has reiterated its longstanding stance that a comprehensive and durable resolution can only be achieved through the implementation of the widely endorsed "Two-State Solution."

@Mzalendo. Some communities in Kenya still practice retrogressive behaviors such as banditry as a time-honored tradition and the only people who can change that are the community gatekeepers si diplomats kama Musyoka.
Kalonzo has now come out of the closet to gazette that he is Ruto’s pocket. One shaky man that no one can trust because of his poverty driven mentality. A vote for Kalonzo as the opposition leader is a total waste of time. The guy is very useless and ineffective.
Kalonzo is too childish to stand alone. His spine is terribly brittle to support his huge meat head. He is very silly to say the least and he can’t even help himself. His own kids know the father is weak and no one can count on him.
Why not tackle bandits instead or just seeking fame & recognition??
