Uhuru Kenyatta to Lead Jubilee Party Delegates Conference on 26 September 2025

The Jubilee Party will hold a Special National Delegates Conference on 26 September at Nairobi’s Jockey Club, Ngong Racecourse, chaired by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The meeting will focus on reviewing the party’s constitution, governance bodies, and policy framework as Jubilee aims to strengthen its organisation and political strategy. This follows recent leadership disputes resolved by the courts, which reinstated Kenyatta’s team, including Secretary-General Jeremiah Kioni and Vice-Chair David Murathe.
The conference will also receive a report from the National Executive Committee (NEC) on the party’s recent developments and operations. The event, held under the theme ‘Mbele Pamoja’ (Forward Together), seeks to reinforce Jubilee’s ideological direction and organisational unity after a period of internal conflict.
The party, which has been out of government, is positioning itself as a significant opposition force ahead of the 2027 general election. Deputy Secretary-General Pauline Njoroge said the NEC meeting in August, also chaired by Kenyatta, reaffirmed the party’s core values and commitment to public interests amid changing political dynamics.
