Starehe Member of Parliament Charles Njagua alias Jaguar has bailed out a lady who waved a placard in the streets of Nairobi, claiming to be President Kenyatta's "unknown daughter"
Photos of the young woman, who identified herself as Tamara Risheel, went viral on social media after she was spotted in Nairobi last Friday carrying the placard.
"Meet Tamara Risheel Unknown President Uhuru Kenyatta's daughter. My high dream is to meet my daddy in person for the first time. I love my daddy," read the sign.
Later, the lady was captured in another photo being driven away in a police vehicle and it has now emerged that she wasn't President Kenyatta's daughter after all.
She was taken to Kilimani police station, where she spent the weekend. She was freed on Monday after the intervention of Starehe MP Jaguar.
Speaking during an interview on Ebru TV's Chipukeezy Show, Risheel said she was not President Uhuru's daughter and only carried the sign in a bid to meet him, adding that she is a big fan of his.
“I am 18 years old, our president Uhuru Kenyatta is not my father by Blood, but he is my father by heart. When you love some, love is natural, for me being a big fan of him nahajui, ilikuwa inaniuma sana,” said Tamara.
"I was the first to wish him Merry Christmas. I had my bare body painted while standing at Kenya National Archives," she said as her host giggled.
She said she's an upcoming musician.
