Samburu West MP Naisula Lesuuda has finally tied the knot to her fiancée, Robert in a exquisite traditional wedding ceremony held at her hometown on Saturday.
The wedding comes months after the MP held an exclusive engagement party at her home in Nairobi's Mountain View estate in April. Popular personalities drawn from the political, media and business circles graced the black and gold themed party.
"All said and done, I thank god for the growth that I have experienced both politically and in my personal life. yesterday, marked an important day in my life… I said yes. Blessings in double portions. Here’s to love and light in 2018,” the MP said while announcing she was engaged in January this year.
Standard Digital reports that Leisuuda’s friend Ambassador Yvonne Khamati was in Samburu earlier this week to prepare for the MP's big day.
Lesuuda, a former journalist at Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) and her husband are reportedly also planning to hold a white wedding although the date for the event is yet to be made public.
