Kenyan MP Offers to Fly Angry Wife to the US for Holiday after Marrying Second Wife Behind Her Back

Samburu North MP Alois Musa Lentoimaga is seeking to fly his aggrieved wife for holiday to the US after marrying a second wife behind her back.

This comes after his first wife Raphaella Lento, 48, discovered that he had married a 24-year-old woman without her consent.

Raphaella reportedly ran from their matrimonial home and exposed her husband on the constituency’s social media page, Samburu Development Forum.

“I want to inform everyone that marriage is a choice and as the wife of the MP who has been with him through thick and thin, I don’t know the girl that my husband will marry on 29th,” reads her post in part.

“In real sense, I’m quitting my marriage to this 24-year-old lady because I and Lentoimaga belong to the old group, while Jamila belong to my children’s age group…she has a degree but I think she went to the school of home breakers…” she continued.

Ms Lento is a mother of two, aged 30 and 25. However, the MP has reached out to his wife in a bid to calm her down.

“Raphaella was not happy and ran away, but we have sorted out the matter with elders, that is why I’m still held up in Baragoi. I’ve done my things in the open unlike those who kill to clear their footprints (sic),” the Nairobian quoted the MP.

He said he is ready to take her for a 10-day trip to the US in a bid to salvage their over 20-year marriage.

“We are taking her complaint into account and I will take her to the United States for a 10-day tour so that she can relax,” he said.

Taking Raphaella to the US is not a solution. That will not change anything. I think before you chose to marry the youngster, you should have sought conscent of the mother of you children.

'I’ve done my things in the open unlike those who kill to clear their footprints" ? That means the girl is pregnant right? This MP is full of gamut of idiocy! The wife doesn't want a co-wife, she's not interested in a 10 day trip to US! He thinks, luxurious trips and materialism will erase her feelings? Think again old man.

How could this dumb fool of an MP marry such a smart woman 20 years ago? Either his brain went for a "recess" and has not developed since or it was accidental that she even married him in the first place. Either way, she is still young at 48 and can dictate how the rest of her life will be. That is why these Mpigs start of by increasing their salaries to cater for second marriages to women younger than their children. Total shame.

@ Maxixley - You seem to live in Jerusalem alone. the 24 year old has a sponsor not temporary one but for life. and believe me after some time she will use his money to pay youngsters for what she will be missing. divorce will cost him and give her a life without financial worry . HA! HA ! How is he going to share his nights one with a 24 year old and the next with her mother . shame !!! to both but we men are IDIOTS starting from Adam and Samson yet we want to believe we are the ones who call the shots . we are only servants of women tuko watumwa .we pay and serve

Iam beginning to think that our mpigs are a breed apart. And iwill mot ne surprised to find out that the beat the general population on I fidelity abd womanizing. Now wonder the only thing that gets done is increase of their salary and benefits so that they can maintain t j.g eir fleet of women. Very disappointing. May be we should have 3/4 parliament made of women.

@Maxiley I would be curious to know what more women would do. Sure, when women gather without men like merry go rounds, more gets accomplished BUT you sprinkle a few men in the crowd of women and their effectiveness evaporates because they give more power to men. In parliament, or at least what we hear is the women encouraging other women to marry as second or third wives. The trick to doing this I would think is to be Mpango wa Kando first and who knows, these girls may be Obando-ed before achieving their coveted price! With all the children and women abuse going on, I would think these women Mpigs would be at the forefront advocating for stricter laws against offenders, exposing the plight of women and children etc. They are devoid of ideas and have let the press control their narrative. Bure Kabisa.

Did the mpig ask her what she wanted in order to "correct a wrong",or did he offer her the trip to the land of the brave, flowing with milk and honey hoping such an offer which she has never had would mend matters?.If he was doing
things in the open, his wife would have know, iwould think? If the mpig xan lie to his spouse why should we trust that he has the interest of his constituency at heart...

Take the vacation then come back and file for divorce. Drain him of whatever he has and see if the chick sticks around

We blame everyone around us and yet these things happen in our backyards and some here are guilty AF for abandoning their families or lifelong partners for "younger, fresher" things. I don't like getting into personal issues coz these issues are really none of our effing business. Wakitiana ni shauri yao, wakiachana pia ni shauri yao. What I would be interested in is for instance, how the man rose to become an MP? Who financed his campaigns? Was it individuals or cooperations? How is his effectively working for his constituency? Are there any discrepancies in the county or constituency finances we should know of? What is his trac record regarding his job, his contract to wananchi? Is he viable for re-elections? You see, even if this man stole from his constituency, his wife will never spill that. Anangoja kuspill bedroom matters. My grandpa always said,"Shida za watu wawili wanashare shuka, usiwahi ingilia." So true in my opinion. Especially a maasai man. Hiyo nyundo bado strong inataka gonga, gonga ama drill... Wacha kazi iendelee... Kwani atakuwa wa kwanza au wa mwisho.

Never abandon the wife of your youth. That is the wife who married you when you had nothing. The rest comes because of money. When men get old they go back to their wife of youth (first wife).
