Regretful Lillian Muli Reunites with 'Community Husband' Jared Ombogi after Bitter Breakup

Citizen TV news anchor Lilian Muli has announced she has reconciled with Jared Nevaton Ombongi, weeks after she dumped him.

Speaking during an interview with K24, Muli says she has reunited with the businessman after they ironed out their differences.

“Some of the downside of whatever that we do and how we handle our social media is that you can have a weak moment, you humanly put something out there that you can’t take back and people would jump on that and ride with it."

“Unfortunately I have learnt that not everything comes across as you would want to come across. I made peace with what it is I did,” Muli states.

On December 24th, 2018, the journalist took to social media to announce her breakup with Ombogi, who is also accused of bigamy in the United States.

In a long post on Instagram, the mother of two labeled Ombogi as a "narcissist and a community husband."

She accused the businessman of cheating on her and swore that she would rather die than be associated with him.

“I’m officially single and will now focus on raising my boys. As public figures we meet all sorts of people and most just want trophies whether you are well known or not. Be very careful who you allow into your life, don’t go giving your heart to everyone,” part of her post read.

“I speak out because no one will ever embarrass me again. People ask why put your stuff out there? Well, it’s because next time you see Mr. Community husband don’t go saying that’s Lillian’s man,” she wrote.

On the other hand, Jared accused Muli of not being supportive and always snooping on his phone.

“She wants to be with my phone every minute when I am in the house. I stopped going through her phone after realizing that am not the only one,” he was quoted by a local news outlet.

“My ex-wife was very jealous. Other than walking in the house naked, she added completely zero to the table. Lilian was not a supportive wife.”

Muli was previously married to Moses Kanene for seven years before divorcing. She has two sons; one with Kanene and the other with Ombogi.
