Two Kenyan Sisters Dumped in Hospital 26 Years Ago Launch Search for their Family

Two Kenyan sisters who were allegedly abandoned by their mother at a hospital 26 years ago have launched a search for their family.
Serah Muthoni, 30, and her sister Emma Wamuyu, 29, said they were dumped at a Nyahururu hospital in 1993.
The two allegedly stayed at the hospital for some days before being taken to Kabete Children’s Home. The two grew up in different children orphanages in the country until they were 18.
Serah has appealed to anyone who may have information about her family to help her trace them.
“Am appealing to anyone who may have information about the whereabouts of our parents or even relatives to help me trace them. My sister and I are doing well in life. We were taken to school by the church and we are all working and financially independent,” wrote Serah.
“Even if it’s a distant cousin, am sure someone knows something about us,” she added.
Kabete Children’s Home and its former administrator confirmed to Nairobi News that Serah and Emma lived in the sanctuary for a couple of years before moving out.
“They stayed at the home at some point and they are known,” Florence Makau told Nairobi News.
Serah told her long-lost family that they are doing well in life.
“Am appealing to anyone who may have information about the whereabouts of our parents or even relatives to help me trace them. My sister and I are doing well in life,” she said.

There's no worse feeling than not knowing your family even though those who have family get sick and tired of them pretty quickly hehehe! These ladies must be feeling lost and this experience has probably dictated every decision they've had to do in life. But thank God for Church jamani- and I mean true Bible based churches that do the work of God like the one that helped the ladies. My hope is that they get to accomplish this and find their parents/ relatives. Saa hii najua mtu alitupa watoto wake 26 yeara ago anascratch kichwa. It's common to find the parents Especially the mothers residing close to where they dump their babies. They will be surprised to find that it was their maid/ post lady/ school secretary or may have even bumped into them a couple of times etc. Don't get me started about Fathers hehehe. Mungu awatangulie jamani
All the best to them.
