Lupita Nyongo’s younger brother, Junior Nyong’o has finally tied the knot with his long-time Australian-born girlfriend, Wanja Wohoro.
The two exchanged marriage vows in a private wedding ceremony held at Zereniti House in Limuru, Kiambu County on Thursday.
The wedding came about eight months after the couple held a low key engagement party attended by friends and family members on November 16th, 2019.
Junior and Wanja shared their wedding photos and publicly declared their love on Instagram.
“You are a fixed point in my universe, and the best friend I’ve ever known. Not the wedding we planned originally, but ultimately even more perfect and intimate than we could have ever imagined,” wrote Wanja.
Junior posted: “I will walk for miles to water your roots every single day until you are too tall and impossible for anyone to ignore.”
Wanja is known to be a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and freelance writer while Junior is an actor.
Wanja was born in Australia to a Kenyan dad and an Aussie mum and permanently relocated to Kenya three years ago.
Lupita could not travel to Kenya for her brother’s wedding to the Covid-19 travel restrictions but she followed the event online.
“Yup, he is off the market, folks! Sharing a moment of joy in my family’s life when my sweet, gentle, loving baby brother @juniornyongo made his declaration of love to his new bride @wanjawohoro this week. I still cannot believe I was not physically present, but thank God for technology! Welcome to the family, Wanja!” Lupita said on Instagram.
Lupita and Junior are children of Kisumu Governor Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o.

How about being able to be graceful, that even in the midst of it all. They have found love without show off. You must be a very angry person to feel offended by act of love.it's the little things that counts the most.
Lavanox, Did you see the movie Wakanda? Nuff said. In addition to gracing the cover of Vigue and myriads of other fashion magazines. Seems like you are sadly unenlightened!
Seriously, we don't have news that make sense?
Lavanox, here's information about Lupita Nyongo from Wikipedia:Lupita Amondi Nyong'o is a Kenyan-Mexican actress and author. The daughter of Kenyan politician Peter Anyang' Nyong'o. Nyong'o was born in Mexico City, where her father was teaching, and was raised in Kenya from the age of one. Wikipedia
Born: March 1, 1983 (age 37 years), Mexico City, Mexico
Books: Sulwe
TV shows: Star Wars Forces of Destiny, Serengeti, Shuga, Americanah, More
Parents: Peter Anyang' Nyong'o, Dorothy Nyong'o
Awards: Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Why is this important? Well, she is one of very few Black actresses who have won an Academy award. Here in the United States, that is very important to people like me who have descended from slaves who were brought to this country against their will to toil for long hours in cotton and tobacco fields. Ms Nyongo's performance in "12 Years A Slave" was hearbreakingly stellar. When I watched it in a movie theater that was completely sold out, I cried during so many scenes. I wasn't alone, either. There were very dry eyes in the theater that day.
Angela,was this story about Lupita?
