Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi Exposed for Refusing to Pay Daughter’s School Fees
Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi has been exposed for allegedly refusing to cater for his daughter’s admission to high school.
The girl’s mother Winfred Wangui told K24 Digital that attempts to reach out to Senator Wamatangi to settle the fees required for her admission to Form One have been futile as he has been taking them “in circles.”
“The girl has received an admission letter to a good school but I cannot manage to raise the required money…he blocked me and failed to respond to my text messages that I wrote to him reminding him of his role,” Wangui said.
The girl sat for her KCPE exam at Crowns King Academy in Juja Farm, Kiambu, and scored 391 out of the possible 500 marks. She has earned admission to State House Girls’ in Nairobi.
Wangui gave birth to his daughter in 2007 after she was allegedly sexually assaulted by Wamatangi while working for him as a house help in 2006.
In 2019, a children’s court in Nairobi ordered the politician to cater for the minor’s education, medical expenses, and take a medical cover for her.
“School fees is paid termly and therefore it is not a monthly maintenance. The defendant (Wamatangi) shall pay school fees as per the school fees structure. He shall also pay school fees related expenses,” Magistrate M. Murage ruled.
On the other hand, Wangui was directed to provide rent, clothing, and miscellaneous expenses for the young girl.
Wamatangi, who doubles up as Senate Majority Whip, could not be reached for comment on the allegations.

Sexually assaulting a woman is very illegal and the assaulter should face jail time! Wangui has suffered irreparable damage(s) because the Senator raped her!
Kimani would have been jailed for a lengthy period of time had he raped Wangui in one of the developed countries of the world!
Now the child is here as a result of rape, kimani must do his part of educating the daughter without dodging his responsibilities as a father.
