Pastor James Ng’ang’a Warns Men Against Marrying Young, Beautiful Women

Controversial televangelist James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism has warned Kenyan men against marrying the most beautiful women, saying that their marriage would be in trouble.

Ng’ang’a avers that marrying a beautiful woman exposes one to conflict with other men, who will be awed by her beauty.

The man of the cloth argues that the beauty of an ideal wife should range between 10 and 15 percent.

“Tafuta ng’ombe kama wewe ile unaona inakula nyasi, usichukuwe hawa waschana wadogo,” says Ng’ang’a in a viral video.

He adds: “Usitake mrembo sana, tafuta mtu ako na urembo maybe 10 to 15%. UKitafuta mrembo mtashinda mkibishana na wanaume.”

In a past interview, Ng’ang’a disclosed that he married a young woman following the death of his first wife. The clergyman noted that settled on Mercy Murugi, who is half his age because he wanted someone he would enjoy life with and one to look after him once he grows old.

“Unajua kwa nini nikaoa mke mdogo, kwa sababu nikiwa mzee atanisaidia labda nisimeze dawa za presssure mbili ama tatu,” said Ng’ang’a.

He added that some members of his church were opposed to him marrying Murugi, who was a university student at the time. Murugi is a daughter to one of his congregants.

What a selfish statement,"...nikioa mke mdogo kwa sababu nikiwa mzee atanisaidia", so you just want amaid?
First of all, not all beautiful women let their beauty get into their head.Secondly, but unfortunately true, women would use their beauty to get to places, much like men would use power and money to get to places.
This thing called beauty depreciates with age.The outside beauty that is.Besides that, when you are catching hell with a beauty,i.e squandering your wealth recklessly, and not loving you or showing affection, you will not see that beauty, but trouble.Even if you are rich, the attraction of beauty can only go so far.
As for Ng'ang'a, he has said nothing new.May be alittle controversial.
And finally, marriage is an institution(commercial) of trade offs. When a man wants a woman,he has certain "assets" he wants to exchange for what he will get from her. Likewise, the women assesses the man's"assets" to gauge if they are acceptable...for she can offer.Obviously there will always be someone with better trade off abilities/assets that you, that's where that thing called love comes in.BTY this thing LOVE is still amystery to me.Does romantic love really exist,or is this just an intense desire to possess selfishly?

I think his advice is for those of meager means because those with unlimited assets have choice. To be honest, you have advantages you can use when you visit the 254 because a dollar goes further than a shilling(I'll get excoriated for stating the obvious). He actually flat out states he wants someone to take care of him when he gets older which I don't understand. I'd say hire a nurse. BTW, don't go getting a side chick. Mexican ladies might cut off pieces of you - see Lorena Bobbitt.

@Kenya, he is revealing his insecurities, afraid of old age and his young wife being snatched from him by a man her age.

He actually should be in Kamiti for killing another man's wife and bribing his way out of it- this man of God. His utterances are indicative of a man who has NOT found peace.
RIP Mercy Njeri Mbugua

I would love to meet Pastor's wife so that I can seduce her. She is very beautiful and I love beautiful women. I want to convert her into Islam and eventually make her one of my wives. Allah allows us Muslims to marry upto five wives. Pastor Nganga is right about marrying beautiful woman, but he put himself in position where other men including myself are lusting for his wife because she is beautiful. Drink what you preach Pastor!!!!!

Does Islam allow serducing someone's wife...oh I forgot Mohammad your prophet married his adopted son's wife.Hey why stop at 5 Mohammad the prophet I think had eleven, and Allah gave him the strength of 30 men to satisfy them. All you need is the strength of 10 men from Allah. Not even viagra can match that.

To quote Pastor Ng'ang'a, "lubbish". This man is obsessed with things sexual. He once said ati akikufa nurse wasiguze makende yake. Before that he had said that atafunga huto tuvitu twenu muwe mkikula ile kitu wa wanawake na macho. Lubbish.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Pastor James Ng’ang’a is just venting out about what's he is going through.
First things first, Ng’ang’a is one insecure man.
I stand to be corrected, but I BELIEVE someone within his community is enjoying the young girl (wife) of his.
He has to UNDERSTAND that MALIPO NI HAPA DUNIANI. If he can't perform, there is a stud waiting to do the job. What he was doing to other people's wives and daughters is biting his a$$ now.

The Gist of Ng'ang'a story is that he is NOT able to satisfy his young wife SEXUALLY. The young lady;s blood is still running hot. Hii mzee fibo yake haisimami, na hata akimeza fiagra inafura lakini kuingiza hivi tu inadrop, halafu anaacha wife hanging. So mzee tell the truth.LAZIMA ABONGWE NA WENGINEO.
