Uganda Sets World Record with Largest-Ever Special 'Chapati'

Uganda has entered into the Guinness World Records (GWR) book after making the largest rolex.

Rolex is a popular Ugandan street delicacy that is made from fried eggs and veggies all rolled inside a chapati.

Uganda’s record-setting rolex weighing a whopping 204.6kg (451lb) was prepared by a group of people in Kasokoso, Wakiso District on November 4th, 2021. The end product measured 2.32 meters in length and 0.66 meters in diameter.

A video shared on social media by Guinness World Record on Tuesday shows a group of men making dough by mixing water with flour, salt and cooking oil before spreading it on a large tray, forming a massive chapati.

A team of women then chops the ingredients among them green pepper, carrots, cabbages, tomatoes, and onions then dip them in a large bucket filled with eggs.

They then hit the mixture on a hot pan and place it on top of the large chapati once it is ready, before adding loads of cheese and meat toppings and then roll it over and wrap it.
