Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has been filmed walking independently for the first time since injuring his feet over five months ago.

Accompanied by friends and family, Kuria was seen walking along a footpath in a Dubai neighborhood on a live video (https://fb.watch/b7qa1w_LQu/ ) he shared on his Facebook page on Saturday.

Kuria sustained third-degree burns on his feet in September 2021 after an electric mat he was using to ease numbness in his feet malfunctioned.

Having considered all options, including amputating his feet, his medical team advised him to undergo a rare stem cell surgery at the Dubai American Hospital.

“It was a difficult decision. There were no cases to compare with either in UAE or in Kenya. After consulting with my family, I finally took a leap of faith and agreed to the surgery,” Kuria said last month. “Thanks to God Almighty and my wonderful team at the American Hospital, I can now walk again.”

Following the incident, the politician has undergone 10 surgeries in Kenya and abroad in a bid to regain his ability to walk.

Kuria said he purchased the electric therapeutic mat from Nairobi-based company Ceragem Limited for Sh250,000 through a friend.

“A friend of mine convinced me to use a gadget which to my knowledge I thought was authorized. This gadget happened to do some slow-burning of my feet. I was trying to cure a problem by introducing a killer solution. I went home at night and my feet just exploded,” Kuria said during an interview from his hospital bed in October.

The MP has vowed to sue Ceragem Limited after it emerged that the company is not licensed by the Kenya Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

Kuria now you have a responsibility and obligation to make sure Kenyans can get the same or better treatment in kenya!

You went looking for American doctors to treat you! Make sure in the next six months a hospital of that capacity is being build in kenya to cater for the needs of Kenyans!

It is good to walk again Kuria but now don’t forget those who cannot walk in Gatundu South!

Where is Cate Waruguru to walk with you Kuria? She preaches what she can’t practice although she claims to be a preacher! God is watching Waruguru!

@Sam, Cate has found another attraction in Kīunjūri.

Wow @mugikuyu - the woman Waruguru is surely femon possessed! No wonder she is a men snatcher. She has lost her soul with siasa mbovu! Even Ruto must be ashamed of her madness although he is also just like her! The most unfortunate thing are those cheering her nonsense. Kweli Laikipia kuna wajinga wengi!

There is another sickness of men having huge stomaches in Kenya. Most men look like they are pregnant with a baby elephant. Whatever is in those bellies causes all manner of gut problems!

The Kitambi causes a lot problems when your belly is bigger than the rest of the body. It is what causes diabetes and other illnesses.

Why eat so food and then much wasting some food that chungulilas can feed on instead of looking for food in garbage containers!

All Kenyan men need to be forced on strict diet to serve them. Kuria can also shed down some unnecessary pounds!

It is a healthy practice to be lean and physically fit!

I agree that kenya has the highest number of obese men in the world. These men think it’s a show of how rich they are to have huge stomaches!

No body walks or exercises any more! Most men are diabetics and all sorts of other ailments! And they hide it because they think it’s a weakness to ask for help.

Kenya needs to hold a moratorium on good healthy eating habits! Look at the fat chicken they are eating with all sorts of bad hormone injected in them to grow bigger! A toxic mixture of everything bad.

It’s really a shame when you see these fat men looking pregnant every where! And don’t forget women and children have joined this ugly fatness game too. And the other sickening game of injecting drugs to white wash their normal skin! They all want to look white because they are a shamed of who they are as Africans!

What do you expect when "middo crass" show of wealth is eating garbage aka fast greasy foods and sugary beverages in two rivers Mall, the hub and those other "cool" joints at Gigiri, Westlands and "kirimani". Ha ha ha. Let's not forget excessive drinking is the new hobby in that class.
