Former President Donald Trump's claim during the presidential debate that undocumented immigrants are taking jobs intended for Black and Hispanic individuals has sparked controversy and criticism.
Democrats have swiftly denounced this assertion as indicative of Trump and the Republican party's insincerity in supporting voters of colour. The former president's remarks have triggered a wave of online humour and memes centred around the concept of a "Black job." In response, Black politicians, activists, and social media users have shared images of themselves at work, satirizing the reductive and racially charged nature of Trump's statement. Stacey Plaskett, the Democratic House delegate from the US Virgin Islands, posted a photo from her congressional office with the caption, "Another day in Congress doing our 'Black jobs."
Similarly, Pennsylvania Democrat Malcolm Kenyatta, a Biden campaign surrogate, ironically questioned, "Did we ever figure out what a 'Black job' is? Asking for me." Derrick Johnson, president of the N.A.A.C.P., also criticized Trump's comments, emphasizing that Black Americans are not confined to any particular type of employment. Republican candidates, seeking to capitalize on President Biden's declining support among Black voters, have positioned immigration as a central issue in their outreach to this crucial demographic. Trump has made inflammatory statements, claiming that migrants are "poisoning the blood" of the country and falsely asserting that those crossing the southern border are escapees from prisons and mental institutions.
Immigrants have become an increasingly significant part of the American workforce in recent years with economic experts maintaining that their presence has benefited the nation's economy. Despite Trump's claims of job theft by migrant workers, the population of foreign-born workers in the country is insufficient to offset the job growth experienced over the past three years. In response to these developments, Democrats have adopted a more assertive approach. Biden's communications director Michael Tyler highlights the widespread backlash against Trump's comments, stating that Black voters had "dragged Trump throughout the night for his racist rant."
Democrats argue that Trump failed to address the pressing needs of Black communities. Instead, they contend that he attempts to create division by pitting different communities of colour against each other, seeking to divert attention from his own shortcomings. Tyler asserts that these tactics are transparent and ineffective, predicting that Black voters will overwhelmingly reject Trump in the upcoming election due to his perceived racist agenda.

I really don’t understand how a convicted felon can be allowed to run for the highest office in the U.S.A.
How can the US Supreme Court justices waste taxpayers money in processing the case of a man who violated his own oath of office which he took on Friday, January 20, 2017 that he will “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States and later direct his “hacked beyond redemption” blind followers to storm into the Capitol Building and temporarily disrupt a normal proceeding of the Constitution by lying repeatedly that he won the election?
Dr. Joseph Goebbels said that a lie remains a lie until the liar repeats it many times when the victims of the lie transforms the lie into the truth.
