Kenyatta Family Linked to JKIA Takeover Deal by Kenya Airways

Members of Parliament have questioned the relationship between Kenyatta family businesses and the contentious plan that will see Kenya Airways takeover the operations of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) from Kenya Airports Authority (KAA).

The Star reports that the National Assembly Public Investment Committee (PIC) has raised fears of possible conflict of interest in the deal.

Last year, President Kenyatta appointed Isaac Awuondo as the chairman of the Kenya Airports Authority.

Awuondo is also the Managing Director of the Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA), where the Kenyattas are the majority shareholders.

At the same time, CBA is known to be a major shareholder at KQ after the national carrier allegedly converted a loan of Sh3.1 billion taken from the local bank into shares.

Members of the PIC on Tuesday put KAA CEO John Andersen to task to confirm whether allegations of powerful forces pushing for Kenya Airways to be handed over the Nairobi airport are true.

“I cannot speculate on the reason behind the deal or the faces behind it. We were approached by Kenya Airways on this matter and also got a Cabinet memo seeking that we manage the process,” Andersen responded to the committee.

It has also emerged that KQ owes KAA Sh3.8 billion, raising further questions on the deal.

If the deal is successful, KQ will manage the operations of the country's biggest airport for a period of 30 years.

He’s probably involved.
Jimmy Wajingi is the person who removed Raila Odinga and his friends from the SGR deal.

After things got too hot ( shameless looting) for Jimmy Wanjigi he went back and recruited Raila Odinga his former buddy.

The small problem is thing had already changed. So, let them all deal with the fall-out of being cheap sell-outs.

There is no war on Corruption.
What there is :
1. Kenyatta family and their looting friends using the Chinese to destroy the interests of the Americans and British.
2. The Americans and British discovering their puppets ain’t loyal!
3. The Chinese discovering the can use tribal animosity to go after Barack Obama indirectly in Kenya. China and US trade war.
Am sure by the end of this drama series, the Americans , the British and the West will be shamelessly supporting the people’s Republic of Kenya.

Things change, things change.

Corruption everywhere you look. War on corruption is just a myth. As far as the government is concerned war on corruption is just a slogan. Don't believe it.

While Ruto is grabbing land, Uhunye is literally selling the country to the Chinese and to the Kenyatta family business. CBA has resurrected from the dead since he took over for example. We will either have to choose the Chinese or the Kenyattas for our masters.

There is no choosing.
The Kenyattas are working for the Chinese. They sold out.

It seems they think they can sabotage the Americans and British interests by furthering the interests of the Chinese in Kenya and Africa.

Crime family, criminal family. Just thieves. How is it in Kenya stealing is the most likely source of riches?

30 years takeover of a National airport by a broke and mismanaged airline 🤔🤔🤔
The Chinese are behind this urgency and foolishness.

KQ and the route to and from Kenya to JFK was and still being pushed by the Government of China.

Their local contact person Uhuru Kenyatta is really overworking to please his master the Chinese government.

Giving the management of the airport to an mismanaged airline tickets hat is always being bailed by the government codifies the one already known fact, that leadership is not an inheritable trait, meaning, although Jomo was a leader, there is no traits of leadership in the son. Kenya airways should not be getting any promotions. The airline should be sold to those who know the air travel business. The pride of Africa has been a drain to the tax payers. Is the goal to make the airport too a drain to the tax payor?
