Foreigner on the Run After Throwing 25-Year-Old Kenyan Girlfriend from Balcony in Mombasa

Police in Mombasa are in pursuit of a foreigner who allegedly killed his Kenyan girlfriend.
Muyanga Suleiman whose nationality was not revealed is said to have pushed the victim from the balcony of Sunny Side apartments in Nyali, Mombasa at 3:00 am on Monday and fled immediately after the incident.
The body of the deceased was discovered by a guard at the apartment, according to a report by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
The watchman alerted the apartment’s caretaker, who identified the body as that of a 25-year-old woman, who was visiting the foreigner.
“They combed the entire apartment in search of the suspect but he had already vanished,” says DCI.
Crime scene detectives processed the scene before transferring the body of the deceased to a morgue in the coastal city.
The incident came two days after two lovers committed suicide by jumping from the balcony of their fifth-floor apartment in Mtwapa, Mombasa.
It is alleged that 23-year-old Lucy Nyokabi and her boyfriend identified only as ‘Rastaman’ jumped off the balcony following a brawl.
A guard at Bigsal apartment said he heard a loud bang in the backyard, followed by the sound of a car alarm. He went round to check what was happening only to find the naked body of a man lying on the ground.
As he pondered his next move, a second body that belonged to a woman landed on his feet with a thud, according to a police report.
Officers from Mtwapa police station went to the scene, where they found two bodies of a man and a woman with multiple fractures.
After accessing the house whose door had been locked from inside, police established that the two had been fighting before committing suicide. The bedroom’s floor was also flooded with blood while a glass table in the living room had been shattered.
