I Won’t Be Derailed, President Ruto Tells Critics

President William Ruto has responded to critics of his Kenya Kwanza administration, affirming his unwavering commitment to his agenda for the people of Kenya.

The President is unwavering in his pursuit of advancing the country despite concerns over potential anti-government protests. Speaking on Sunday at the sacred Revival Sanctuary of Glory located in Riruta Satellite, Nairobi, President Ruto asserted his positive progress in transforming the nation. However, Azimio leader Raila Odinga has registered his disapproval, saying that Kenya ventures down an erroneous path due to the disproportionate use of government resources. During his presidential campaign last year, Dr Ruto promised to address the high cost of living, revive the economy, and generate employment opportunities for young people.

Even though the economy remains stagnant, signs of its struggles are present in the depreciating shilling against the dollar, soaring prices for essential goods, and the emergence of fresh taxes. President Ruto is advocating for modifications to the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) Act. In the coming months, he promises that each ward will host 1 to 3 ICT hubs. According to Dr Ruto, the Hustler Fund has provided funding to entrepreneurs in Nairobi with Sh6 billion invested. He affirmed that the government remains unrelenting in its support for enhancing financial inclusion.

In terms of healthcare, the newly proposed legislation aims to encourage local communities to take ownership of healthcare facilities in their respective areas, ensuring that these facilities are well-stocked and operate seamlessly. Dr Ruto also mentioned that all Kenyans will have access to free medical care in Level 1, 2, and 3 hospitals. The President's administration has plans to construct 3,500 classrooms in Nairobi. Dr Ruto emphasized that many underprivileged areas in the city are facing a severe shortage of teachers.

This man has spent a little over one year so far making one empty promise after the other. A very promising 4 years lies ahead of the country.

You have already derailed yourself Ruto with too many empty promises well knowing you have no resources to fulfill your milliards of happy hour promises. Ruto should be talking to himself as he figures how to move the country forward. Kenyans are tired of blame games.
