MP Karauri Denies Viral Video Claims, Offers Sh10m for Proof

Kasarani MP Ronald Karauri has strongly denied claims linking him to a compromising video, calling the allegations baseless and politically motivated.

He challenged a blogger to produce the footage, offering a reward of Sh10 million if it could be verified. Karauri, a businessman and legislator, labelled the accusations as a deliberate attempt to damage his reputation ahead of the upcoming political season.

“The story is totally fabricated; I don’t know what agenda the blogger wants to push,” he said, suggesting political manoeuvring behind the claims.

The MP further rejected the allegations by emphasising his personal life, stating, “I’m the straightest person you will ever meet. If I’m going to have any issues, it is going to be with women.” He explained that any personal difficulties would involve women, not the matter at hand.

Karauri escalated his response by offering an additional Sh5 million if the video was released by Wednesday at 5 pm. If the footage did not materialise, he pledged to donate Sh8 million to his charitable foundation, with the remaining Sh2 million directed towards a boxing event, including Sh1 million for Kasarani residents' attendance and another Sh1 million in prize money.
