Body of Kenyan Man Missing in Baltimore, Maryland Found in Inner Harbor
The body of 27-year-old Branson Oduor, who had been missing for nearly two weeks, was recovered Tuesday morning from Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Maryland.
Authorities responded around 8:10 a.m. on April 14 to the 500 block of East Pratt Street, where Oduor’s body was found in the water. His remains were transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office, where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
Oduor, a native of Kenya, had been reported missing after the early morning hours of April 4. Surveillance footage shows him leaving The Horse You Came In On Saloon in Fells Point around 2 a.m., appearing intoxicated. In the video, he is seen stumbling and leaning against a wall for support before briefly speaking with three unidentified individuals. They eventually parted ways.
Additional footage captured Oduor walking west along Thames Street. Around 2:38 a.m., he was seen passing Sound Garden, a nearby record store. Police say he later struggled to ride his electric bicycle and was stopped by private security in the area. He was last seen running northbound on South Central Avenue from Fleet Street.
Investigators also confirmed that his motorbike was later located, and video evidence shows him riding it around 4 a.m. in the Harbor East area.
Baltimore Police continue to review surveillance footage and investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
