Kenyan Woman Missing After Failing to Board Flight in Saudi

Kenyan national Christine Akinyi has been reported missing after she failed to board a connecting flight while transiting through King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah on 19 April.

According to her family, Akinyi was last seen at the airport during a scheduled stopover en route to Nairobi. She had been expected to arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport later that evening, but did not board her onward flight.

Relatives say that her travel plans had appeared routine until she allegedly chose not to continue the journey. Since that time, all contact with her has been lost.

Her family has made enquiries with the airline, airport authorities, and Kenyan officials in an effort to trace her movements, but no confirmed information about her whereabouts has been established. In a public appeal, her relatives have asked anyone who may have seen Akinyi at the airport to come forward.

They have specifically called on fellow passengers, airport staff, and members of the Kenyan community in Saudi Arabia to provide any relevant information.
