Family Seeks Help to Trace Kenyan Man Missing in Doha
A family in Embu County is appealing for help to locate Harrison Waiganjo, who disappeared in Qatar shortly after travelling there in early 2023 to look for work.
According to relatives, Waiganjo maintained regular communication with his family before leaving Kenya for Doha. However, contact stopped suddenly soon after he arrived in the Gulf state, raising concerns about his safety and wellbeing.
Family members said repeated attempts to reach him through phone calls, social media, and mutual contacts have been unsuccessful. They reported that his calls go unanswered and messages remain unread.
Relatives described the situation as emotionally difficult, particularly for his mother, who continues to worry about his condition as months pass without any information about his whereabouts. They said the lack of communication has left the family uncertain whether he is safe or facing difficulties abroad.
With no official update on his status, the family has appealed to the public for assistance. They are asking Kenyans living in Qatar, members of the diaspora, and anyone who may have seen or spoken to Waiganjo to share any information that could help trace him.
The family has also called on authorities, community groups, and members of the public to circulate his story through social media and local networks in the hope of generating leads.
